Another round of severe weather is expected late Tuesday into early Wednesday across northeastern Oklahoma and southeast Kansas. Significant damaging winds could occur, along with large hail and more flooding rainfall.

Friends of blues musician Selby Minner are calling for changes to how mental health crises are handled after police say her brother—who struggled with mental illness—murdered her last week in Rentiesville. Selby was known for her generosity, love of teaching, and for founding the Oklahoma Blues Hall of Fame. Her friend Shelly Reynolds has started a petition urging action, saying tragedies like this are preventable when families can’t get help for loved ones who refuse treatment.
